When Duncan walked into his favourite coffee shop one afternoon, he hadn't expected to meet the owner. He also hadn't expected that the owner was deaf, or, that he was cute. In turn, when the large man from days prior comes in and fails terribly at signing his order, Adam hadn't been expecting to fall in love so quickly.

The man who lives across the lake from you is odd, he's ancient or in your mothers words, just her age and practically a lone wolf. You've never seen a single person over to his house, never during thanksgiving or Christmas or even easter. (this story is a slow burn romance)
