Roper is a Dúnedan - a Ranger. As a child he was brought up in the Bree-Land, but after the kidnapping of his brother, Gandalf took him away to join his kin in the protection of West: a solemn calling laid upon the descendants of Isildur. From the troubled boarders of the Shire to the growing darkness of Mirkwood, He must learn what it means to be a Ranger - to face hardship and toil and love for the protection of Middle Earth. While there are well-known characters including Gandalf, Legolas, Tom Bombadil and Golberry, and Elladan and Elrohir, Roper is a completely original character as is Lorellin - a daughter of the Dúnedain whom he works beside - and I am not following any part of LotR or The Hobbit, as this story takes place years before. Some random thoughts I got near the waves, and ones you could relate to ;)

It's Haruno Sakura's fourth reincarnation, and her second time as a skin-changing creature of flame and destruction. The name marring her skin brings both hope and despair in equal measures, because her name in that world is rarely spoken amongst those who remember it. The name hammered into her soul is as good as a curse. One which doesn't promise a happy story, or a happy ending in the slightest. Still, it doesn't stop her from longing for that elusive feeling which has escaped her in all three of her previous lives. Unsurprisingly, the Lady Galadriel is expecting him, and welcomes him in. While he is there, Aragorn reconnects with the one person who he has been trying to forget these past 29 years. Will feelings have changed?

Tolna is diverted from her quest to find a dunedain ranger, so that she can join the Fellowship and help them as they embark on the quest to destroy the one ring. But as she journey's with the company, she notices Legolas seems to have a strong disliking towards her.

3 years before the gathering of the fellowship, Legolas is still a young, joyful elf. However, certain events take place that lead him to become more sorrowful, and more importantly, introduce him to some people that could very well help him in the future...
