In order to understand this book you need to read The Dragonborn Comes first and secondly That's Madness.

It gets more challenging once Alduin takes the war westward, to a new continent, with new allies and another conflict to add to the chaos. Now, the Dunmer-Nord duo, with their intrepid Orc berserker as backup, must help their newfound allies face the combined threat of the World Eater and the Mad King. And things only get more confusing when this odd green egg hatches... (I do not own the Inheritance Cycle OR the Elder Scrolls series. Wish I did though; the Eragon movie would be SO much better)

Her wit strength and stealth all prove to him she would be a perfect new addition to their group. All seems well at first until he and the others notice some unsettling things about the lass. For one her use of the phrase "No honor among thieves." She claims she actually trusts none of them, and they should not trust her. Soon the guild has been betrayed and she seems the most likely suspect. Was Gwin merely preparing them for her betrayal? What will become of the guild, and will Brynnjolf be able to take down his star pupil before too many lives are lost? {Terrible description sorry.}
