Telling your crush you like them is one thing, but adding a few swear words and some explicit details is a whole other thing. It was either staying at home and hoping the text would somehow magically get deleted or actually going out and try deleting the message before he saw it. We of course decided to try and delete the message, if only we hadn't chosen the latter then we wouldn't be here sitting in a police car on our way to the police station.

He was a tornado that came into my life and turned everything upside down, but to be fair I was lost and confused even before he came into my life. People would say I was uptight and needed to relax and have fun, but how can you have fun when you were constantly trying to be perfect. My main goal in life was to win the Mavis Van Hoogen trophy at the end of high school. This trophy meant everything to me, it was given to the student that was poised, graceful well spoken, helpful, well behaved and basically everything parents dream their perfect child to be. I wanted to be perfect and this trophy told everyone that I was perfect, but after I won it I felt completely lost. Without any direction, I followed my parent's wishes and set off to study at the University of Cape Town. On the way, I met him he had taken the bus to Cape Town after flipping a coin. He was reckless, he was spontaneous, he was in my opinion crazy and yet I secretly longed to be as carefree as he was. That is probably why I agreed to his insane plan. For one year I was not going to plan, I was not going to worry, I was going to go with the flow, he was going to plan, he was going to worry and he was going to take me on "the adventure of my life" as he put it.

Reasons why Will Gibson is the most annoying person I know. 1. He has completely ignored me 2. He rolled his eyes at me (well, he did rescue me from falling/twisting my ankle again) (I mean, it was stupid of me to wear these shoes anyway) (but that's besides the point!) 3. He is totally INSANE 4. No seriously, for someone who looks that good, and who was voted most promising writer of 2014 for his 'education of the girl child' article, he really puts a whole new spin on the definition of "insane". 5. You know why? (Read to find out!)
