Just a couple of random TotA scenarios I thought of randomly and decided to share. English is not my first language and I typically don't beta read, so mistakes may occur. TotA is a genshin fanfic written by corviiknight on wattpad. All characters either belong to mihoyo or them. I do not own any of the characters. Before the dragon came. Before Erebor fell. Before the line of Durin became a people without a kingdom... Thorin Oakenshield had a wife. Brynhild, daughter of a proud dwarven house and beloved wife of the heir of Durin, was torn from Middle-earth by the gods of Olympus. Chosen by an ancient prophecy, she was forced to watch from afar as her home burned, her people scattered, and the one she loved carried the weight of a broken kingdom. For nearly a century, the gods allowed her only one mercy-to see her family for a single moment each month, never able to speak, never able to return. When the prophecy is finally fulfilled after two great wars, Brynhild is sent back to Middle-earth. Her first destination? A cozy hobbit-hole called Bag End. There, she finds Thorin's Company gathered once more, preparing for a quest that could reclaim Erebor... but Thorin himself is away in the Iron Hills, unaware that the wife he mourned long ago is finally home. As old wounds heal and a kingdom's hope is rekindled, Brynhild joins the Company on the greatest adventure of their lives. Nathlan is nation full of colours and dragons, but what happens if the world just make it's own rules against the Heavenly Principles. A Kili Durin Fanfiction The Kingdom of Erebor was once a strong and mighty stronghold, ruled by Thror, the Dwarf King. The Dwarven Kingdom was unmatched in both beauty and wealth. The Mountain provided an abundance of precious metals that the Dwarves carefully protected. But every beautiful thing balances on the razor edge of danger and destruction. A Fire Drake from the North, drawn to the Mountain and the gold that lay underneath, destroyed the Kingdom of Erebor and took the wealth for himself. Accompanying him to Erebor are 13 of his brother Dwarves, a Wizard, a Hobbit, and a Ranger. The Ranger is an odd creature, being half-Elf and half-Dwarf. But she is skilled with both her bow and her sword, her mind is sharp and her body is strong. She has every reason to wish the Dragon dead and she takes up arms with Thorin to slay the beast. But the quest will not be easy nor will it be without heartbreak and pain. However, the young half-Elf will not be without the comforts of her own people. She meets many new faces and learns many new things. She even meets a certain Dwarven Prince that makes her realize that she has, in fact, found love. A love worth dying for.

Durin IV doesn't need his wife to speak for him. Disclaimer - I don't own Tolkien's Middle Earth. Yet another thing I noticed about the promotional material is how Durin the IV needs Disa to have agency despite being a Dwarf. And so I gave him agency in this flash piece. Edit - I realized there might be some missing context for those who've not seen the trailer, but I'll start with the relevant lore. Every Durin is named Durin because they are noted as being like the first Durin, yet Disa is effectively telling Durin that one day he'll be recognized by his people despite the fact him carrying the name Durin means he already is.
