Twilight, Dusk and their family's cruise vacation is actually a themed vacation where ponies have paid for the privilege of spending time with them, and they must please both their family and the cruise attendees.

Twilight and Dusk agonize over Starlight and Stellar's future and seeks advice from Princess Celestia and Prince Solaris while trying to fight the dark magic inside them from Sombra and Oscura with Sunset Shimmer and Sunset Glare.

Dusk Shine finds his way to another world, the big difference, no one is a pony!! They're a strange looking creature! Dusk finds his friends in this world, but they aren't friends, they are separated. Dusk bumps into a girl named Y/n, Y/n is a being that he isn't really close friends with in the pony world, but this girl holds a sort of draw on him, and he's not the only one.

Grogar deploys his legion of doom on a mission to become allies, but his plan works too well, and they almost become friends.
