Infiltrator MC and Jake are working on a case for a client, but have reached a stalemate. The CEO of a major corporation is corrupt and they know it, but they just can't find the evidence they need to take him down as none of it is stored digitally. While Jake works on finding a solution, MC decides to try a more basic approach to get the physical evidence they need. Send in the Clowns MC and Jake are yet again stumped by a hard to reach target, but thankfully his son is having a large birthday party with all his friends from school and he requested clowns. This time, MC will have to call upon the help of others to get the job done.

Very Slight AU in that the game timeline is extended, and includes conversations between what we see in the games, without negating anything in canon. When MC gets a message from a group of strangers, she gets pulled into the missing Hannah Donfort's life. Can she find her own place in the mystery and retain her own connections, or will she find that she's lost her own life in favor of Hannah's? so the story is inspired by the game called "Duskwood" and its basically about the MC (main character) being the key to the solution for finding the missing girl Hannah and in the journey MC falls in love with a hacker named Jake. Can MC trust jake cause she's in love with him?or ? if she does is the love and the risk worth it?? PS: i just took the game's plot as the storyline so many things won't be the same.you probably have to play the game to understand a little better :)

Vanysh Webster just moved to Duskwood, a small town that doesn't seem to be any special, but that is until a stranger, from this same town, calls her claiming to have received a message from his missing girlfriend, which contained nothing but her number. Intrigued by the events and even people related to it, she decides to enter the case and find this girl, which leads her to paths deeper than anyone could ever imagine. !!!!Brief explanation: As some of you might have noticed, the story is based on the game "Duskwood", which means the main ideas, story and characters ARE NOT mine (except for Vanysh and some others). So, the general credits belongs to everbyte and all of their creators.
