Infiltrator MC and Jake are working on a case for a client, but have reached a stalemate. The CEO of a major corporation is corrupt and they know it, but they just can't find the evidence they need to take him down as none of it is stored digitally. While Jake works on finding a solution, MC decides to try a more basic approach to get the physical evidence they need. Send in the Clowns MC and Jake are yet again stumped by a hard to reach target, but thankfully his son is having a large birthday party with all his friends from school and he requested clowns. This time, MC will have to call upon the help of others to get the job done.

Ignoring the pain on her shoulder, she kept a firm grip of the pistol. Pointing it at the two man, she kept a safe distance from them. Face contorted in pain as sweat rolls down from the scalp of her head. She feels hot and cold at the same time. Left alone without Lilly or Cleo, she was left to ponder her current circumstance. Macie hasn't heard from Jake since his last message, and four days later, Lilly, Hannah's sister and the one who framed her and Jake for kidnapping, contacts her to tell her that Jake sent her a message saying that she is the key. After so many failed attempts to get in contact with anyone and being completely ignored, Lia decided to go to Duskwood herself to see if everyone was alright. To her shock, she sees that her friends including Jake are having a good time without her. Has everything they said to her been a lie? Has Jake only used her as a tool to find Hannah? Before Lia could find answers to her question, she soon finds herself in the same predicament as Hannah, just that now she has to deal with someone worse than the man without face. Her only hope is Jake, but could she trust him to save her after what she saw? Taking place after chapter 10, Richy is still here, Hannah is part of the group now, Phil is still a flirt and Dan has prepared popcorn for some (obvious) reasons.
