Thanksgiving of 1933 is a story about a desperate family that lives on a farm during the peak years of the great depression. Thanksgiving is only two days away, and they have to hunt for their food. Caused by the overhunting of wildlife, they have to come up with an alternative for Thanksgiving dinner, or they won't have anything to eat. It's about struggle and hope at the end of the tunnel through community and faith. This story has religious themes to help emphasize the time in history.
