Empireverse AU Killer Target never did fit in with the others. He was great at fighting, stealth, and he was very loyal. He was gay too. What happens when Killer meets King Nightmare? What will happen? (There are a lot of other ships and for example AfterDeath will get a different book but everything starts here.)

The most this fanfiction contains is fluff, angst, and whatever you call a singular making out session. Enjoy! Why was he here? He assumed it was because of the eplosion of the city centre. The experiments were escaped, and so was he. Now it's time for him to be free, at last, away from his abusive father and those sadistic doctors. But then he met another experiment whose now living with a gang of other skeletons. 'Are you code N16H7?' 'CR055?'

The gang has a very infamous public reputation for being a very destructive team, but in private their reputation in the castle is nothing near a united team unless Nightmare orders for it. There's Horror as the weakest member but also Nightmare's favorite. There's Dust as the most powerful and most unstable. And then there's Killer, the strong yet most annoying. The reputations of his companions cause mix feelings in him, like jealousy, for different reasons but he solves it by being Killer aka chaotic. The trio isn't as united as it seems, mostly thanks to Killer keeping the two distant from each other. But the two have noticed each other and struggle with the idea of something more. Horror is weak compared to Dust so can he really be worthy to connect with him or will he just be a waste of time for Dust? Dust is nothing compared to Horror's level of stability and perseverance in his eyes so is he worthy of being near the red-eyed cook? Can they both get past Killer and challenges to connect? Can they find that they're worthy of a different kind of LOVE? Read to find out and enjoy!
