She started typing. "Two r's, two s's" I said a little quieter but loud enough for her to hear. I hope atleast "Fancy name, Starr is." she said glancing at me but continuing to type "Yeah." my lame attempt to agreeing with a small, awkward laugh seemed to satisfy her enough. It is an interesting name though, I'll give her that. In my 12 years of life, I've never met or even heard of anyone with the same name. My dad always told me that they decided to spell it that way becuase then it would match my last name with the double letters, but I was never specially fond of it. "Go on in. they're waiting for you." She dismissed me. "thank you." they? i scrunched my eyebrows together but turned to my left and kept walking 5 feet to the door and opened it. Inside was an older looking black man with short, black hair and a mustache in a suit, and sitting across from him was the ginger girl. I looked around the basic office. it had white painted stone walls with a desk cluttered with things, from papers, to picture frames. There was nothing special about the room except a couple awards and trophies on the wall with shelves of things along with those stupid fall decorations, although it stunk a little less like hand sanitizer, and more like pumpkin spice; one of my least favorite smells that never failed to make me nauseous. "Ahh. and here she is Maxine." The principal had a warm smile that welcomed me in making the room more tolerable. the ginger, or Maxine, however, looked the exact opposite. her lips had a natural frown to them and she looked tired with her drooped eyelids making her look annoyed to be here. It made me kind of annoyed just looking at her. She acts like I dont not want to be here. "It's Max. Not Maxine. no one calls me that." She said looking at the floor. wow. okay.
