Months ago, an unknown virus broke out, turning Hyruleans into decaying corpses. Panic erupted throughout the nation, as more bitten Hyruleans turned, and soon, the affected areas were sealed off to prevent further spread. The situation seems bleak. All connection to the outside world has been cut off. The radios and TVs had gone out weeks ago. No news of help, supply crates, or evacuations. You don't even know if there is some semblance of normal life outside anymore, and it's certain that no one is coming to look for survivors. Now, it's just Link and you, the zombies, and whatever you can salvage from the wreckage that had been left in the mass panic. Perhaps there are other survivors out there. For those who don't know, Dying Light is a game series about surviving a zombie apocalypse with parkour. You, an infected survivor, are a courier after the Fall. Taking advantage of the enhanced agility and strength that came from being bitten by a volatile, you run, jump, and climb your way across your now-dead city to deliver items to the people that need them. During one such job, you find yourself transported to the world of Remnant. Once you arrive, you realize that you have a second shot at life, but you still fear the monster that's trying to claw its way out of you. BTW I highly recommend listening to Dying Light 2's soundtrack when reading this (or just in general, shits a banger). DISCLAIMER: I don't own RWBY, Dying Light, or Dying Light 2.

Brecken and Jade took in Zafirah after she left Rais's side. She hides in the shadows to avoid Rais or his men. Everything was getting better for her, until Lena and Jade brought in a wounded stranger one day.

When the outbreak started, Luz was in Harran with her mother, who was later killed by the first wave of infected. She was later taken in by the runners, and adopted by Brecken. However, Kyle failed to get the cure and the tower was overrun, so her adopted mother Lena told her to run, and she ended up in the Boiling Isles. Follow her as she goes through life there, and tries to find a cure.

Hakon/Aiden (Haiden) This is totally an impulse written thing, and most if not all of these are going to be inspired by songs. I will be putting the songs at the beginning of every oneshot incase you want to listen. WILL NOT BE UPDATED OFTEN as this is a when I have the energy and inspo to write because I am very busy rn. Kyle Crane, once the amazing hero of Harran and best runner of the Tower, has now turned into a sentient Volatile, much like The Mother. Crane begins to deal with these newfound problems, but unfortunately, cannot do it all by himself this time. HakonxAiden (Haiden) A journey to the ocean. This is a fanfiction on what my imagination could conjure up about what happened after Aiden and Hakon left Villedor. An unusually tall thin poor teenager no older than 13 was carrying his violin on his back on his way home. Suddenly out of nowhere an old manhole with number 13 on it.
