Norman Bates is just a regular teenager. His mom Norma is over-protective and smothers Norman. Norman has many complicated relationships in his life, one being with his older half brother, Dylan Massett. Dylan struggles with his own problems and moves in with Norma and Norman after Normans dad suddenly dies. Dylan resorts to following Norma and Norman bringing his fiancé, Anna who fits in more with his own family than he does.

Alpha Sigma Phi. One of most famous frat houses in the country for it's parties, hazings, and just fun times. Dylan is a small town guy, who barely left his town or ever his house. He find himself is on his first day of collage, joining a frat. What could go wrong?

Norma decides that she and her two sons deserve better than to live in fear of her husband, Sam. So she packs up and drives her kids to a nice little town in White Pine Bay. How was she supposed to know that the quaint town would change her life completely? Both for the better and worse.

Dylan wasn't the safe haven she thought he was and Kennedy wasn't the innocent girl he assumed.

Elizabeth Bates was known to be an angel. She was the sunshine that White Pine Bay was desperate for, and Ellie had taken pride in that. Whenever the main concern wasn't Norman, Ellie was loved. Set back in the 1900's. Norma Bates is married to a man named Sam Bates who is a captain of the army. She and her two sons fend for themselves for the most part until a certain dark eyed man changes their world. I thought of this idea whilst watching Boy In The Striped Pajamas if that says anything.

This is a different version of Bates Motel, starting with Norma right after she has married Sam Bates. The story is better than the description.
