Hi I'm Charlotte Waters. My dad is Mark Waters the famous movie director. My mom is Janet Waters the famous fashion designer. I have a pretty big family for a 16 year old girl who lives in California. I have 2 older brothers, 1 older sister and a younger brother. People desire a lot of different things, fame, wealth, love. I, on the other hand, am a little different. I desire perfection, what is perfection you ask? Well my interpretation might be a little different from yours, see I used to be round and when I say round I mean fat, a lardo, whatever you wanna call it. I stumbled a little down the years and now I'm nearly perfect, I just have to stay this way. This story centres around a teenager who struggles with the state of her body, her haunting past, a very cute drug addict and the care of her little sister. This is the story of Darcy Lane and her obsession with bodily perfection. A/N: This is partially based on myself and how I struggled with my weight problems when I was like 13/14, it's still quite a sensitive subject and though I'm not as big as I used to be I am certainly not thin. There are certain elements of anorexia in which are also based on a good friend of mine. A lot of it is based on true experiences but most importantly I hope readers will be able to learn about certain struggles in which some types of people face. e.g obesity, self harm, bullying, anorexia and drug addiction.
