"Brookie..." He whispers, his hot breath tickling the nape of my neck. He wraps a thick ringlet of my hair around his index finger, my head tucked deeply into his neck.
"Yes, Dylan?" I answered after a short period of time, my voice hushed so he could only hear. My free hand, which was my left one, their fingers were laced in his, fitting perfectly.
"I have a question."
I feel myself smile coyly, and I nod.
"Okay," I breathed, my grey, knitted sweater hugging my body tightly, needless to say the same with his arms.

Nodding, I look out the window, the sunrise finally appearing from the concealed night sky. In all honesty, it felt amazing, being wrapped in his arms with my eyes glued onto streaks of purple, red, pink, and navy blue, speckled with white, twinkling stars. I finally gather the courage to open my mouth again, to unravel from whatever was holding my confidence back.
"For eternity, Brainy."
