Nine-year-old Trey's lonely, sad life as a fatherless misfit is changed forever when the new preacher's kid, the indomitable Charley, arrives. Everyone around Charley sees him as tragically handicapped. Not so Charley himself, who lives life to the full and pulls everyone around him along, starting with Trey. Watch them grow through challenges into young manhood and beyond. This is a revised and somewhat condensed version of this story. It started out life as a short story but its characters just took hold of me until it grew into what you have at hand. The characters and settings are an amalgam of a lifetime of experience, sometimes intense, of all sorts of people and places. In themselves, however, they are entirely fictional. Any resemblance to real persons, places or events, other than what is clearly public knowledge, is coincidental. If you're looking for sex in every paragraph, you need to look elsewhere.

He remembers the night everything changed. At least, he thinks he does. Haunted by fragmented memories, an unexplained bracelet, and the fear that he is becoming someone he swore he never would, Theo has spent months trying to bury what happened. The details refuse to stay buried. Then his phone rings. It is someone he hasn't spoken to since that night. "We need to talk about what happened." As old memories begin bleeding into the present, Theo is forced to question everything he thought he knew. About that night. About the people involved. And, most dangerously, about himself. Because memories can be distorted. People can lie. And sometimes, the truth is worse than what you remembered. Some things disappear into the haze. Others are only hidden by it.

Hi, my name is Molly, I'm 16 years old. Writing has always been how I make sense of the world around me, as well as the one inside me. This is a collection of poems I have wrote and categorised into 4 sections: - Poems for my family - Poems for the one I love - Poems for my friends - Poems for myself Each poem holds a little bit of me - a memory, a feeling, a moment I needed to hold onto or let go of. Some were written in pain, others in love, some in confusion or hope. Together, they reflect who I am and who I've been becoming. I hope these poems are understood by anyone who's ever felt a little lost, a little too much, or a little too quiet in a loud world. If you see even one part of yourself in them, then maybe we're not as alone as we sometimes think we are. Thank you for reading.
