Many things can cause a wound to form. A scrape from a fall, the tip of the knife, the bullet from a gun, an ache in the heart, the list never ends. They all break through a barrier, that being skin or reticent intentions. They are exposed, vulnerable, no matter the shape or form. It is common knowledge that if a pinch of salt is added directly to this broken flesh, the pain will only grow. The healing process will stop and most likely never carry on, each granular causing the fight to die. In simpler words, it's the last thing you should do. This is exactly what the city of Techor did. They took one bad situation, and expanded it. Spreading the war between not just countries, but teenagers too. Girls and boys become paired, and keep fighting until one of them can no longer. It's a game of true survival, but more than anything else, revenge.
