We were given the task to create a book to share our group's concept paper regarding Paul Theroux's short story 'Being a Man'. Together, we conceptualized and created a paper that is worthy for the readers such as the person reading this sentence. In this book, you will see our concept paper which we put our blood, sweat, and tears to make that is not only based in the American context but also the Philippine context.

"The garden that we see in her eyes is the life that she really wanted, La Vie En Rose" Hermione Huenning was sent to Norway after her family in Australia got killed by cholera. She lived in one of the hundred rooms of her uncle, Mr. Ramah Penworth. Hermione was restricted to enter a very strange garden which made her discover it and considered beautifying it, as one of her dreams. What could be the danger she would encounter inside the Evermore Manor? Who will help her discover the garden? Why did she entered the garden?

In this tale, the two main characters first became friends when they met at a competition. They had not seen each other for a long time before suddenly meeting in an unexpected setting. They rekindled their friendship. When they set out, they had to go through a lot of challenges to maintain their friendship. As they completed it, it wasn't easy for them. A great deal of mysteries were uncovered in their lives. Go ahead and read my story because it has many plot twists that will keep you interested. There will be parts that you will undoubtedly relate to. Right now, go read it!

To summarize, the entire Module 8 of this subject has taught me to understand one of the academic writings which is a concept paper. Moreover, I have learned its salient parts as well as its contents. As what I know, I developed my wrting skills and styles by the knowledge of definition, explication, and clarification, the ways of developing a concept effectively. After all, I were able to present a novel concept project I have in mind with the integration of visuals and graphics.
