the year is 1994. i got on the bus with my headphones connected to my mp3 player and sat next to a very attractive boy. turns out we were listening to the same song.

Set in the early 90's Calcutta of trams, black and yellow taxis and Ambassadors. Those were the times when the struggling middle class was the dominant force in the city's society. Enriched in intellect and culture the citizens could be found brain storming at road side tea stalls over fuming tea. Times when booze was not an essential ingredient of socialization and though dwindling the morale and ethics were not as rare as the bi-cycles in the city today. This is a simple story of such times when a middle class youth grapples with his entreaties from God only to be answered by Heavens in the most stupendous way. The story "Samaritan" tries to reaffirm the faith in Karmic deeds plotted on the undying love of a son for his helpless father.
