It is the material that fills up the cosmos and connects everything, possibly the most dangerous element to wield. Just one year after Aang ended the 100 Year War, the forgotten element resurfaced.

Fire was an element made for people so unlike her, those who wished to create destruction and bring the world to its very knees. All Akemi wished for was a warm cup of jasmine tea and to return home after her years at sea. 𝙎𝙊𝙆𝙆𝘼 dedicated his life to his family and his tribe. Despite his lack of pure skill and general shortcomings in life, he was fixated on helping any one and every one that he deemed worthy of his help. So when a bubbly air bender by the name of Aang leads him and his sister into the Fire Nations eye line, perhaps not every view he had was to be set in stone. Heimat: a place that you can call home; a sense of belongingness, acceptance, safety and connection to homeland A decade has passed after the final battle between the Avatar and the Fire Nation, a decade after the defeat of their Fire Lord. It is a time of prosperity for most, but the crimes commited during the war couldn't be reversed. Benders were taken away from their families, people were slaughtered, their belongings, homes and land taken away. This, had been the instance when it came to the northwest part of the Earth Kingdom, that had went on to become the Fire Nation colonies. The people of the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom lived on in the land that was given to them and gradually, they became one. They collaborated and cooperated in order to live and so they got richer, learnt to depend on each other for their survival. By the end of the war, the people, even though they came from different backgrounds, were one. A decade after the end of the war, the Avatar is commanded to solve the matter of whether the former Fire Nation citizens need to move or not. Aang believes the nations need to be separated. The people in the colonies do not, hatred starts to grow in their hearts. The Avarar will need the help of a companion more than any other time, and there is no better person to aid him than the secret waterbender that's part of the Fire Nation fleet, the woman who risked her own life to get him to safety, even though this had been the first time they had met in their lives. NOTE: Any characters that do not appear in Avatar: The Last Airbender belong to me. The atla universe belongs to the creators.

My name is Rin, it means cold, people say it fits as a nickname since I am so cold towards others. My real name is Sora, I don't like it though, it doesn't make sense, Sora means sky. I'm a fire-bender. Why would my Fire Nation parents name me something that would be more common in Air Nation? Not that the air nation will survive much longer. My uncle is Fire Lord Sozin, or at least my adoptive uncle, but nobody knows that, not even the Fire Lord himself. When someone finds my secret, Sozin forces me from the nation, and I ended up in the South Pole somehow. And got locked within a chuck of a glacier. When I finally melted my way out, the Southern Water Tribe had changed. How long had I been in the ice? Again, Like the last one, I blame Caitlin/Amaya for most of it. Sorry, but this is gonna be slow updates cause we still haven't finished it. We own only ourselves and Amaya may also own my soul...
