As everything around them crumbled to mere existence, Earth's greatest scientists made one last effort to save the world that had been ravaged by climate change and human fault. Gene enhancement. The testing on pregnant women was indubitably dangerous; but what else was there left to try when Earth faces the ineluctable consequences? If there was any chance of volition that this generation could make the difference, it had to be taken. But with no palpable differences at their birth, only time will tell if these children will truly be the key to Earth's salvation. Not only for humanity but also for the place they live in. Hey, so today is Earth day. I've written a short poem on how we have influenced the environment.

Climate change is on the rise but Veta continues to protect those who cause it. Gaia, though, wants to stop her. She wants to protect that which she has created. But when Veta refuses to change, Gaia will have to change her strategy in order to protect the Earth once and for all.

A children's book representing earth day. About the life of a tree and how she perceives the world around her and processes the ongoing change the earth goes through and what she experiences in her local forest. I wrote this as a 6th grader in English class, I was bored with the earth day topic I had been assigned and decided to write my own short story based off my own earth day topic.

The Earth has had a hard time with human beings: we destroy her skin and poison her lungs, we dirty her blood and kill her creations. So now we need to become aware of our impact on the enviroment. We must do something about it, like activists such as Greta Thumberg or David Attenborough. We have a chance and it is highly limited. The clock is ticking and we are running out of time.

Earth was polluted. So the government came up with a solution. But was it the best way to go?

The beast's striped coat shone under the moonlight, as the Australian tried his best to mask the horror on his face. ❝Keep still! Keep quiet!❞ In return, came a bunch of loud, clapping sounds accompanied by an irked feminine tone, from the adjacent branch. ❝Mosquitoes! Fucking malarial mosquitoes!❞ ___ We've all watched movies, where people get themselves trapped, with Nature's wrath surrounding them on all sides. For example, Blake Lively in the shallows, where the entire movie was about her, saving her dear life from the shark. Or Jurassic Park - or even World, where Chris Pratt saves the tourists on the island from dinosaurs. If you look carefully, the humans were at fault for all the chaos, every single time. It is no different in this book, where the species that you belong to, is responsible for an Australian tourist getting stranded, along with a peppery lass in the largest mangrove forest in the world, with over hundred tigers roaming around in the wild.
