What would you do if one day you woke up to an alarm and lights and a deep scary voice telling you to go out of your house? Well, I would be scared as crap! Maddie is lead to a different planet outside of the milky way! The Earth is a piece of burnt land, the solar flares turned the earth into a tanning bed! My generation cannot be our ocean's last. I stand with @NationalGeographic and their pursuit of change. Evan and Lily are meant to be together, but they will have to run, fight and evolve to stay together.

The Earth has had a hard time with human beings: we destroy her skin and poison her lungs, we dirty her blood and kill her creations. So now we need to become aware of our impact on the enviroment. We must do something about it, like activists such as Greta Thumberg or David Attenborough. We have a chance and it is highly limited. The clock is ticking and we are running out of time.

Imagine that you are Luna. You are 16 years old and your life seems like your life, but it isn't. Everything you know begins to fade before you as a result of your actions. Watch as your dreams become reality and the consequences just as lucid. There is no one to blame but you. You alone caused this. And you alone can solve it. In honour of Earth Day 2016 I have chosen to write a book, but instead of setting it in another planet like wattpad suggested, I am going to set it on Earth. Though, it isnt the same planet we all know and love (or - hopefully not - hate) as you will begin to see. As someone who has witnessed bullying firsthand, I know just how damaging its effects can be. In this speech, I express the importance of showing compassion and respect for one another, regardless of differences. I also highlight the underlying factors that may contribute to a person's well-being, such as mental health, economic standing, and more. I hope my words can inspire others to take a stand against bullying and create a more inclusive and supportive world.

This is about the destruction of Earth by mankind in the perspective as Earth being the mother, mankind being the father while in the point of view of children worried about the future.

This is my first short story entry for the National Geographic contest. We were asked to create a 500 word or less short story about #PlanetOrPlastic. I hope one day, we look around, and our eyes finally open.

Climate change is on the rise but Veta continues to protect those who cause it. Gaia, though, wants to stop her. She wants to protect that which she has created. But when Veta refuses to change, Gaia will have to change her strategy in order to protect the Earth once and for all.

About the life of a tree and how she perceives the world around her and processes the ongoing change the earth goes through and what she experiences in her local forest. I wrote this as a 6th grader in English class, I was bored with the earth day topic I had been assigned and decided to write my own short story based off my own earth day topic.
