During a break from college, Izumi plans to visit all the Avatar temples across Japan, only for it to go disastrous. Stuck in an unfamiliar world, surrounded by unfamiliar people. She must adapt to understand why she had been brought here, and just what lesson she might learn.

"No! No, no no, NO!" His shouts could be heard through the corridors of the prison. The two women laughed. The cold burned his bare chest as he heaved, a pathetic attempt to grasp any air he could. He could feel her hot breath near his neck. He tried to get away, but his arms wouldn't let him get far enough and his legs felt like jelly. He was trapped. He could feel the towering figure of the girl in front of him as she stared down at him intently. He felt her small hands cup his face and pull it put to look at her. She closed the distance between them and the woman behind him chuckled as she rubbed his chest. He felt the world spinning around him, unable to fight off the two of his attackers. The throbbing pain in his head intensified and his ears started to ring. He began to give in to the lulling comfort of darkness. Before he knew it, his entire body fell limp in their hands, unknowing of anything that aspired next. Or Zuko seriously loses his cool, but it's completely warranted given the month-long torture he had to endure. The world is divided into four nations -- the Water Tribe, the Earth Kingdom, the Fire Nation and and the Air Nomads -- each represented by a natural element for which the nation is named. Benders have the ability to control and manipulate the element from their nation. Only the Avatar is the master of all four elements. The ruthless Fire Nation wants to conquer the world but the only bender who has enough power, the Avatar, has disappeared ... until now. A tribe soon discovers that Aang is the long-lost Avatar. Now Lü Bu the son of the Fire Nation's greatest war general and Northern Royalty alongside his friends Katara and Sokka must safeguard Aang on his journey to master all four elements and save the world from the Fire Nation.

Happiness takes a lot to come. At least in Iris's story. At the end, she might have ended up happy, but they're a lot of unspoken things of how she got there. There are too many secrets Zuko still doesn't know. When the Defender was claimed dead, the Red Shadow Demons found the chance to complete another mission. Iris and Sokka will start working for them trying to figure out who their leader is and what they're trying to achieve. But before that, Iris will have to unlock her powers, and grab a new identity. People will get injured a lot more than they did in the show because I'm a bit of a whumper at heart and since I'm not making this story for kids, I can get away with it. Don't worry though. This isn't a whump fic and I will not use gory descriptions. I just won't dodge around injuring people. I will explore the ramifications of war more than the show did, which will give the story a darker tone. No characters will struggle with issues of self-harm or suicide.
