AN: By the time that I wrote this, the live-action ATLA adaptation from Netflix hasn't come out yet. In this book, I would like to warn that there may be topics that could be triggering to some. I decided to rewatch the animated series. While watching, I thought about all the different discussions fans have had over the years about certain characters and whether they are completely the one thing we see them to be in the series. At the capital of the nation that destroyed his island he was made a servant to the Royal family. Thinking his life was lost he didn't expect to meet them. This is for others to give me feedback so far. When the final product is done I am going to keep this one up for people to see how different the first draft is from the final product.
