The disappearance of the Flash had hit a nerve in the Arrowverse Justice League. They need to pick themselves up and fight to face a threat far greater than a super villain. They face... Themselves? Overgirl peaks an interest in a Speed Force signature resembling one Barry Allen. Demanding capture of the familiar speedster, she sends Dark Arrow to pay him a visit. Barry is changed to lead again, to invade Earth 1, the home to the Scarlet Speedster.

Barry Allen was trapped inside the speedforce. Team Flash had attempted to get him out. It worked but the portal didn't open in the correct place...or even the correct earth. Barry winds up on Earth-X, where they had just recently mysteriously lost their Barry Allen.

Losing my world was one thing, but losing her was even worse. I stared out into the empty distance as everything around me was burned down and engulfed in flames. As my world was burning down around me I was pulled into an unknown portal by someone I had never seen a day before in my young life. Moments later I woke up in a new world, somewhere dark.
