Or that bit in the first episode of Brooklyn 99 where Boyle drops his muffin on the floor and simultaneously steps on it and hits his head on the counter whilst trying to pick it up. Got that image in your brain? Yeah, that's pretty much what's happening here. (Except none of this is funny and Andy Samberg isn't anywhere nearby to save me and I really, really want to go home right about now.)

So personally I don't think there is nearly enough EAS fan fiction out there. Seriously, I love Shelby Bach's books and not nearly enough people have read them. This is probably going to be a short fanfic but it could be longer depending on how I like it... Obviously I don't own any of the books in The Ever Afters series, blah blah blah, Shelby Bach is my fave, etc. I hope that was enough of of a disclaimer for all of y'all. When a snarling Rakkhosh demon ambushes a new Character, and talking wolves attack Prince Lal and the daughter of the stable master, Mati as they organize a surprise birthday party for Prince Neel, the worlds mix and life as they know it turns upside down. Not that their lives weren't already chaotic enough. What happens next is something that only the Fates and perhaps Einstein ji know. (Translation: even the I, the author doesn't know what will happen next.) **Please be warned that none of the characters are mine, and if they are, I will say so.
