Rox is working day and night to pay off a debt that isn't hers and provide for her minor brother and troubled father. So she cannot refuse any professional opportunity, most of all if Christian, the boss she adores, is asking her for a favor that lays outside her comfort zone. The villa they need to refurbish is beautiful, reeking of old money and the owner is very private, reclusive and... demanding. ---------- A few necessary mentions: - My books contain violence and smut; you have been warned. However (!) It's a slow burn, so don't be disappointed if they don't have crazy sex in the first chapters. They will get laid eventually just that it needs to develop first. Smut is signaled with a note at the beginning of the chapter. The book is meant for mature audience and contains lots of triggers so if you are very sensitive DO NOT read it. -This is a work of fiction and every resemblance with real-life persons or places are only a coincidence, and yada yada. -It should not be copied, but I don't think there is danger of that. 😂 Just have fun and write your own story. -English is (sadly) not my first language, not even my second. Unfortunately, there will be mistakes. Feel free to point them out; I appreciate that.

REVOLUTIONARY is a work-in-progress novel about the Romanian Revolution, seen from the height of a 6-7-year-old child - the one place where truth shouldn't be complicated, yet life makes it so anyway. Through his eyes, the "adult world" begins to speak in whispers, doors close more often than usual, grown-ups change their faces from one hour to the next, and words like freedom, fear, and gun suddenly enter a universe that only yesterday was about sweet bread, chewing gum, and a Pioneer scarf. The story doesn't unfold in a straight line. It shifts - sometimes almost chaotically - between moments from Before the Revolution (B.R.), with its communist routine and quiet absurdity, and scenes from After the Revolution (A.R.), in a still-young democracy learning how to walk... sometimes in the dark, sometimes at a run. This isn't a history lesson. It's a childhood caught between rumors, sirens, silences, and the kind of courage you don't know you have until you're asked for it. A novel about what a Revolution looks like when you don't fully understand it - but you feel absolutely everything.

VILNIUS, SEPTEMBER 1987. Summer is over. The air smells of change and cheap cigarettes. Jake, Tricky, Fresh, and King stand once again before the gates of their high school: four friends bound by a forbidden passion - graffiti. Hidden in alleys and away from prying eyes, they paint dreams in color on gray walls, defying a world that refuses to change. Jake is impulsive and rebellious, and that's why he spent the whole summer doing house chores after getting caught tagging a wall around the city. Yutani, a year older, quiet and studious, watches him with a mix of curiosity and disapproval. He teases her, she corrects him - yet between them grows a silent connection, built on irony, glances, and half-spoken words in the school corridors. Meanwhile, Tricky keeps chasing her dream of becoming a dancer, Fresh hides behind his music, and King, increasingly weighed down by his family's financial struggles, starts missing classes to help his parents at their small shop. Days go by - lessons, small dramas, and secret murals painted under the cover of night. And in the air, they can all sense something dark approaching, though none of them can yet tell what it is. When the summer of 1988 arrives, the friends escape for a few weeks to Klaipėda, where Fresh's aunt Ella lives. There, among the beaches and the Baltic sunsets, Tricky meets Brody - a foreign boy who has recently moved to Lithuania after his parents found work in the coastal city. Between them sparks a brief, intense story, full of music, dancing on the sand, and whispered secrets. But as summer ends, Tricky and Brody decide to part ways, accepting that what they shared was just a moment in time. Meanwhile, King decides to leave school to help his family, promising, however, that he won't leave his friends behind. Jake and Yutani, between banter and small gestures, grow closer - close enough to care, but not yet enough to say "I love you" on the last day of school.

Now, onto the preview: -♥- Morissa ran through the forest as fast as she could. Unlike the rest of the girls, she ran towards the origin of the loud boom; she was always a curious girl since she was young. Morissa skidded to a halt when the forest abruptly ended. The forest ended? That's impossible! Morissa was baffled as she breathed heavily, but what struck her as even more odd than the fact that the forest ended was the strange animal in front of her. It had a silky white coat. She wanted to touch it. So badly. Morissa looked at the ground, the color white reflected back at her. It looked solid, but she was unsure....
