Isn't it about time we honoured our fallen heroes, after all they gave their lives for our freedom, don't they at least deserve acknowledgement? So, for those who don't know, one hundred years ago, on Easter Monday of 1916, a small group of Irish nationalists lead a rebellion against the so-called might of the British empire. They lasted for just under a week, and at the end of that week, sixteen men were executed for fighting for their freedom. Is it not about time we honoured those fallen heroes, who willingly gave up their lives in hope of a better life for the rest of their people?
