In the world full of humans and countries alike, lies a little house in the Black forest where, tucked away, the countries of the past and fifty-one trouble making states live. America has been The seer of life since 1933, when the previous seer, Weimar republik, succomed to death. with this title, he is put in charge of taking care of and providing for the dead countries, who live on earth. he runs a house called in much country folklore, the house of souls, in Baden-Württemberg, in which all dead countries live in relative peace. he works with the seer of death, Roman empire, who leads humans to the afterlife, to ensure that the mortal world and the dead countries are safe from each other. The world will not see the countries and the countries won't see the world. but what happens if one day, a younger country decides that he wants to leave the vast achorage of the House of Souls and see the world that he was torn from? Hai welcome :3 *gives hot coco* This book contains NO smut. not sorry. it has rusame (not strong tho), gerpol (also not strong), and may contain sensitive subjects like ww1 and ww2, and countries and conflicts from the past and present. in this book, its starts in a world where the crazy crisis all around havent happened, but covid has. just to keep things a little less complicated for the aging of this story. SLOW UPDATES!!! FEEL FREE TO BOTHER ME IF YOU WANT ANOTHER CHAPTER! (I don't do well under peer pressure but bothering me will get it to the top list of my priorities :']). This is another adopted book (woah another one :○ ) yes it is! I can't wait to work on this book but read it, it's really good (I hope yall like it when it's my turn >_<)

„I am serious, North." Her tone didn't allow for much argument, her stance final. "How much good can you scrape together, just within us?" Northern Germany was not one to back away easily. But he practically fled now, like a dog stumbling on its tucked-in tail with its hind legs as it retreated. Ironic, how he was able to spit after his British occupier yet trembled before his sister. He stared at her in bewilderment, eyes wide. Fearful, almost. Was he indeed? „What are you suggesting?" It came out little more than a whisper. South-West didn't let herself grow soft at her brother's bout of emotion, no, she didn't. But she let her face grow tired, wariness fleeing it in strides, wings almost touching the floor with how little power she had left to lift them. She still kept her head from falling forward and denied herself the wish to just step forward and embrace him. There was once a time where none of this this would have happened. "You have an idea already," she sighed. ------ Weimar had more than two children; Germany split into four, one child for each cardinal direction. Not all of them survived to become nations. --- ||disclaimers you might want to read|| • This is the first longer story I'm writing, so criticism is very appreciated :) • Trigger- and Content Warnings will be posted at the start of each chapter. Only because political ideologies like national socialism and communism are mentioned, I do not support them. Their portrayal in this story will be negative and any comments endorsing them will be deleted. • English isn't my first language, if you see a mistake, do point it out, I'll be eternally grateful for that.

Wolfgang Templin, an opposition intellectual in East Germany, lived through years when speaking the truth could mean isolation. For him, the greatest tragedy did not lie solely in social control, but in the way fear could seep into private life, quietly drawing boundaries between those who loved one another most. The short story below is written in that spirit, a small slice of life in East Berlin in the 1980s, where walls did not exist only on the streets but also stood at family dinner tables, where affection and compassion were tested by the invisible weight of the times. There are walls that need no guards, for they are built from fear within the human heart.

America is the self-declared hero of the free world. Bright smile, nuclear warheads, and a PR team that never sleeps. Russia is the looming shadow behind the Iron Curtain-equal parts folklore, fear, and frostbite. The year is 1963, and the world is a ticking bomb. As an international terrorist group develops behind the scenes, they meet again and again across summits, standoffs, and secret corridors-where threats slip between laughs and hands almost brush before they recoil. What begins as mutual disdain simmers into dangerous interest. In the backdrop, their "families" watch the tension grow-with everything from denial, interference, sabotage, and (in Ukraine's case) tea. A Cold War slow-burn where nationhood collides with identity, where power means pressure, and where loving the enemy might be the deadliest act of all. [My first fanfic🌝]
