Starting college is supposed to feel like freedom. For Sofia, it feels like survival. Fresh out of the hospital and stepping onto campus weeks after the semester has already begun, she is forced to navigate dorm life, lectures, and relationships while carrying the weight of a past she's not ready to talk about. As she tries to rebuild a sense of normalcy, she forms unexpected connections, including her outgoing roommate Alison and Joshua, a football player whose quiet steadiness contrasts sharply with the chaos inside her head. Set against the backdrop of college life, this story explores eating disorders, relapse, control and the fragile balance between isolation and connection.

A Rafe Cameron x OBX story for all the girls who thought love equaled pain *writing this here because I am currently using my "before you read" chapter as my outline page. i have always loved writing and the way words effected me. i love to make people feel things through my literature. with that being said, my main character Sienna Bennett is a extremely complex mmc. i feel drawn to characters like this because they feel relatable and real. being able to bring my pain and feelings and write them down for others to read is so special and meaningful, and something that only literature can bring. i feel so blessed to love reading and writing the way i do. to any girl who thinks they have nothing meaningful to say or don't want to write because they are scared it won't be perceived well, don't do it for other people! do it for yourself. i have grown so much because of writing and it has truly changed my life and become a form of therapy. even something as silly as a wattpad fanfic can change the way you perceive yourself and the world around you. it's crazy how powerful literature is! anyways, i hope you enjoy reading and realize that this is more than just a fanfic.

Your body was never meant to become your enemy. And yet, at some point, it did. You compare. You control. You promise yourself it's the last time - and then it happens again. Trapped in the Body is a psychological exploration of why body image struggles rarely begin with vanity - and almost always begin with emotions, shame, comparison, and the need for safety. Drawing on psychological research, real-life mechanisms, and emotional experiences, Marta Ewa Mazurek explores: - why thoughts about the body become obsessive - why comparison feels automatic - why food, control, or avoidance bring temporary relief - how social media intensifies shame and self-monitoring - and where real change actually begins This is not a book about "loving your body." It is a book about understanding why you learned to fight it in the first place. A psychological non-fiction book about body image, emotions, emotional regulation, shame, and self-perception.

Trained since childhood to run the firm, she's been stripped of that future and locked behind a cage of photo shoots, bodyguards, and a life carefully measured in calories and parent expectations. Now twenty, she's still haunted by the night she turned seventeen: the accident that rewrote her story, the betrayal that shattered her friendship with Ellis Astor, and the parents who decided she was too fragile ever to face the truth. When Ellis is named the agency's heir and a "special" dinner throws them back together, the tension between them erupts like a long‑buried case file. As Lorelai starts sneaking into her father's office, digging into the family's secrets, and leaning on the only two people who've seen her real self, the truth about who she is and who's been lying to her, threatens to turn the whole Kline‑Astor world upside down.
