Cora strikes a bargain with her aunt asking to give her until her 15th birthday, but with it only a month away, what is a poor 14 year old girl to do? Theses are the poems that I wrote the summer before I started college and during my first year of college. The title of this collection reflects upon my transition from high school to college.

Time does not heal anything. Sometimes, it is the one prolonging one's agony over despise of oneself. I've never known a single moment alone with my own thoughts. Growing up I truly thought that everyone could hear the things I could, but that only led to a life full of awkward moments. With the love and patience of my husband I am finally starting to find comfort in the gift I've been burdened with.
