It all started on July 18 7:18 PM when a phone call from 1967 was linked to 2021 on the same date, the same time, and the same house but 54 years apart on a different year and era. That phone call led a man from 1967 and a woman from 2021 to each other and made it possible to communicate. This story is inspired from the movie 'The Call' and the story 'Flowers from 1970'. After enduring a lifelong history of agony, violence, depression, rape, run ins with the law, and neglectance, Omi finds herself in a dark place. She finds little joy in partaking in human interaction and she loathes herself for her past, blaming herself for everything that led up to her life being in shambles as of the present. Omi's daily activities do not consist of much, she usually just plays video games on her Xbox, specifically Phantasy Star Online, and chats with her friends that live in other places of the world, while she stays in Tennessee. To say the least Omi is an Otaku and a social neglect. Some of Omi's friends online are Mari, Cesar, Brian, Beau, Xavier, and Pedro. Mari is a young, 17 year-old, Afro-Latino female. From enduring a stressful childhood throughout elementary and middle-school, Mari has been shaped into an empathetic, understanding, but also emotionally scarred individual. After her attempts of trying to seek validation from the outside world as a young teenager, she realizes that the world is a cruel place, selecting only those who are fit in the eyes of the beholder to be loved. Although Mari has what she calls "friends" and a loving family, Mari still feels like she lacks something that creates an empty, sore crater in her heart-aching soul. She desperately seeks for relationships that could fulfill this desire, but she is unsuccessful. UNTIL..
