First of all, I am very thrilled to take part in the #EyesLipsFierce marathon established by e.l.f. Cosmetics in support of International Women's Day! Secondly, this very very short narrative is a tribute to my friend, Janine. To me, she is the embodiment of female empowerment because she overreaches the aspect of conformity by staying true to her eccentric gothic/ punk ass self. Her authentic attitude has inspired me to be more rebellious, optimistic, and overall just ditch the conviction of how an "ideal" female should act, and be fully contented with my bizarro individuality. Just wanted to introduce you all to this special lassie and hope her turn of mind may influence you ladies to overcome the need to belong and illuminate your truest self. Happy reading!
