When a friend from another world shows up, tensions grow between her and Rouge, with Shadow caught in the middle. He soon becomes reliant on his diary to hold his feelings for her, and for Rouge. Not long after, he writes down everything in it, with his Diary learning things he never told anyone, not even his closest friends. However, when everything goes wrong, will the information he put in his diary be enough to save him from a false conviction? Or will he get punished for a crime he's innocent of? Is the price of freedom worth the spilling of secrets? Or will Shadow destroy his only chance of release, leaving justice unanswered? During a mission to find the chaos emeralds, the Diamond Cutters encounter old friends and a new enemy. (This is both a continuation of the "Total Eclipse" saga and a follow-up to "Opposites attract".

This is NOT a multiple chapter this is only a SINGLE STORY BY ITSELF. This takes place in the Sonic Prime series where Shadow was finding a Chaos Emerald then saw the world has shook itself , he wanted to know the reason behind it and soon found out what happen thanks to Sonic. Once Shadow found Sonic on top of a mountain with Eggman and the others but also a mysterious crystal shard called 'Paradox Prism' later he would soon realize his siblings are not at a good state they should be in. Shadow want to know the reason behind all of this, so he was going to find Sonic and get some answers. Fun Fact: I wrote this when Sonic Prime first season came out like a few weeks ago so I had to change some things on what happened in season two. Also a reminder this might be confusing so just a heads up

Eclipse the Darkling is kept from the truth about his origins for most of his life. When he finds out he has an evil brother, he is determined to find him and get answers. (This isn't strictly 13+ and can be considered for younger audiences too! Youngest being 10.)

"I love you, Alinta" were Shadow's final words to his girlfriend before he and their friends battled Black Doom and his Black Arms. He has gone missing for now five days, along with Mobius' hero, Sonic, and the other heroes and anti-heroes who accompanied them. The Mobius council cannot contact the blue blur or his friends. Neither can G.U.N. with the Ultimate Life Form or Team Dark. Worried that the Black Arms defeated them and possibly killed them, with the exception of Shadow, who was likely forced to join the Black Arms, Alinta Emerald stays at G.U.N. headquarters, awaiting Shadow and their friends' return. Early in the morning on the sixth day, Alinta is awakened by a familiar hedgehog. Shadow has safely returned home. Or has he? As the couple is hugging, Alinta realizes that Shadow is different. The black cape ripped at the end. His eyes lacking irises and pupils. The two Black Arms soldiers standing behind him. After defeating Black Doom, Shadow established himself as the new leader of the Black Arms. He finally revealed his true intentions to their friends before he and his new army overpowered them and imprisoned them. He will rule Earth with a gloved fist on behalf of his best friend Maria and his girlfriend Alinta. But first, Shadow must convince Alinta to join him. To be his queen. Since that she is a corrupted emerald, he will simply corrupt her. He has not given her a reason to not trust him. Why should she not trust him now?
