Alethea has spent most of her life underwater, but now she has to give up her tail to learn how to be a lady of the Edalian court. No one has seen the land Royals since their heir was born. Some say they're hideous. Others say there wasn't ever an heir. Regardless, Alethea's life, as the future Queen of the ocean, was promised to the 100th Edalian ruler. She has a plan. She's been on land many times before to drown voyageurs and their treasures. She knows what to do to rule both land and ocean: marry the heir, murder them and overtake the kingdom.
