Eddie sat, listening to her ramble, occasionally taking a swig straight out of the juice carton. It wasn't that he was purposely being dismissive of everything that she was saying, or even trying to ignore her. He was just... exhausted. He was exhausted, and tired of hearing her frantically trying to figure it all out. He knew that there was no point, that it was never going to make sense. Not until she knew the full truth, and that was a long story that he wasn't even sure if he had straight, or fully understood. He blinked a few times, still staring out the window. He hadn't said a single word since they'd seen Dr. Death outside their window. He'd felt no need to speak. The damn thing had been inside their house, not to mention the fact that he'd hijacked her mind for the better part of four hours. He was sick of it. Sick of the fact that he was never going to escape it, sick of the fact that it was never going to end, sick of all of it. Seriously, how many times could the world end? How many times could it come this close to imploding, only to be thwarted by a group of worse-the-wear kids and their group of unwitting babysitters? *my own take on what happened to Eddie at the end of S4, how he went on with life afterwards, and a brand new, creepy villain. The new girl of Hawkins walks into the cafeteria on her first day, she didn't expect anyone to care much, but Jason walked up and gave a unwelcoming introduction, dumping fries onto the girl's head. Eddie stepped in and defused the situation, in his own way, and she was invited to the table. not many liked the idea, (*cough cough* mike *cough cough*) but they all listened to Eddie. So what if she hung around more? Could she get everyone at the table to like her? Would she accidentally get a certain someone to like her more thank he should?
