Buddie my dude! I swear this ship will pull through in the show (I hope) So, Buck was ten when Maddie left him, twelve when he lost his parents, and 15 when he realized life sucks. Now we have a 17 year old Buck roaming around LA, no longer questioning his life choices until he sees a man crying by a bar. Bucks not an asshole, so he did what a normal respectful man would do. "Are you alright?" Don't like? DON'T READ. :)

Hate is a strong word. But Eddie thinks what he feels for Buck's parents comes pretty damn close.

He softly traced the swollen skin where Buck's birthmark sat, just above his brow, and above his eye. As he sat in silence, caressing Buck's face for what would be the last time, -and the first time, because friends don't touch each other that way- he couldn't help but think of what he told Christopher. And he couldn't help but argue with his aversion to the thought of an afterlife, because for someone as good as Evan Buckley, surely there had to be a place after this. Right? A place of peace, of rest. An infinity, where good souls could be rewarded for the lives they imprinted on the hearts of, and left an effect on. They are both intently staring at the lights changing from one number to the next. Then the elevator comes to a halt and Buck assumes he'll soon be alone. But instead of pushing away from the wall, the other man is just furrowing his brows. Then Buck realizes the door isn't opening. His eyes flit back to the current story: Four. That's not where any of them wanted to get off. Buck groans. "I think we're stuck." Buck laughs a humorless laugh. "Shit." <hr> Buck gets stuck in his apartment building's broken elevator with his good-looking neighbor from the sixth floor.

Buck is trying to move on after been abandoned by his ex, Eddie is learning to deal with his disability, until a fire throws them both together and Bucks need to help people pushes him close to crossing the line with work but is he willing to give his job up for something meaningful

No amount of stories he heard about it as a child could have prepared Buck for the reality of his soup sending him messages.
