Brett and Eddy are best friends and the two souls behind Twoset Violin! But little by little, things start to change... There goes another fanfic of mine because these two are just too damn inspiring. We'll see where it takes us, I guess^^. Since I really struggled with three uploads a week recently, I'm gonna change my upload schedule to twice a week because life's just so incredibly busy :'). His teacher gave him a tiny smile. "That was actually amazing, Yang." Brett smiled back timidly. "It was, wasn't it?" "Yeah. Congratulations. You're one of us now." Musicians have always been able to control nature through their music: Fire, Water, Air, Earth. Nearly fourteen years ago, the government decided this was a threat to national security, and did everything it could to wipe musicians off the country. Brett Yang is 24, and he hasn't heard or played any music since he was ten. He works in a boring job and leads a boring life. But then the police comes after him and takes him to prison, accused of being a musician, and his life changes forever. Hidden at the Conservatory, and under the guidance of Eddy Chen (a nasty teacher, if there ever was one), he'll have to learn how to navigate his newfound powers, music theory lessons, and an ongoing war.

People often discuss how their story builds up by starting as friends and ending up as lovers. Brett Yang and Eddy Chen were exactly this, beautiful friends to beautiful lovers. Well, at least they were. Now, they are lovers on the way to being friends again. They always portray breakups as bitter and revengeful, but Brett and Eddy were different. They are mature about it and it happened for a reason. Yet, there is something painful about the arrangement. Something about seeing the man you once loved and once loved you back, going on and loving somebody else that isn't you. Even if both of you agreed to a mutual breakup, that doesn't mean that it will not be painful once you see the scene in your head. The man you loved, the one you should be happy for, is now with someone else. How will Eddy Chen even cope? - - - - - A Breddy fic filled with angst and fluff. **Discontinued** Brett is a painter without inspiration. Suddenly, he finds his muse in the form of Eddy, a young soldier just returned from service overseas. Eddy is not immediately receptive to the idea of being a model, and he is quite sure his thoughts and feelings for Brett aren't appropriate. Surely it's best for the two to give each other space, and let childish crushes lapse? Still, he somehow lets the artist convince him to pose, and the mutual pining between the two begins to become unbearable... This is a historical AU! I figure it's set in the Regency Era, sort of Jane Austen style. Indeed, this will be slow-burn in a sort of Jane Austen sense, as the characters flirt around each other for *ages* before anything happens. Enjoy!
