The county is driven into a civil war between Cult, and Resistance. The Seeds knew that the deputy would be trouble as soon as she landed in Hope County, no matter how innocent she looked. Yet when John first laid his eyes on her, something twisted inside of him and he knew that she would be different but couldn't begin to explain why. The deputy was forced into being Hope County's hero and the leader of a resistance against a doomsday cult but even she knew that something wasn't right when she first saw the blue eyes of the baptist. How can two people who are so different, both be so broken. Perhaps, devotion doesn't have to make sense... On going. Levi never wanted to get involved. He thought this Eden's Gate stuff would fade eventually, or someone else would fix it. He wasn't a fighter anyways; hurting and/or killing people unerved him. He was content with hiding out till it was over. That was until he accidentally killed this Deputy fellow; the guy getting rid of his problem. Thanks to guilt and being irrational, he went and ahead took their identity. Maybe if he wanted something gone, he should do it himself. Now he finds himself with a whole range of new problems that he's gotta figure out; preferably without getting bloody.

It's not uncommon to feel alone in Hope County, not since Eden's Gate took control. So many people are alone or at least feel alone, even the people you wouldn't expect.
