The worlds above and below stairs are entirely separate in some places. Some of my colleagues may be able to claim the title of friendship with the family, but to me they barely seem real. My family may say my job sounds as boring as anything, but it pays nicely, and I hear every little secret this house has. All with their discerning quirks and personalities There was Mary the eldest who was snobbish and elegant then there was Edith the older of the twins who was second best to everything by Mary and Lydia the younger of the pair always clung to her older twin, and then the youngest one Sybil had causes, and she gets too invested in the idea than the reality on how it would work out. Was it a wonder why the Crawley family interested many as well as drew people to them??

In early spring 1928, Emily Atkinson is contacted by her distant male cousin, the one who inherited the Atkinson estate when her parents passed on.
