After a punishing world juniors championship Brook Shepard just wants to relax. Her teammates manage to convince her to join them at a bar. There she gets talking to a man that looks a lot like Connor McDavid. A few days later she is drafted to the Edmonton Oilers. It is there that she discovers the man she was talking to was in fact Connor McDavid.

Hayden McDavid is the younger sister of the Edmonton Oilers superstar, Connor McDavid. What happens when she gets tangled up with the notorious bad boy and Calgary Flames winger, Matthew Tkachuk?
