This is basically the plot for 3.21 if Alec had become a vampire. Magnus is still trapped in Edom, whilst Alec is still trying to figure out a way to get him back. Whilst the others notice Alec's lack of sleep, eating and continuing to use his stamina rune, he's not gonna stop at anything until he gets Magnus back, even if that means turning himself into a downworlder. He doesn't remember anything before his life in Edom, and is raised by his mother mostly, and trained by his father. One day his mother decides to send him to Earth, to have a real life.
