HEYYY Y'ALL, I'M BACK AND THIS TIME I'M WRITING A TOH ONE SHOT! a few of you are already used to what I usually write so it wouldn't be a surprise for y'all :) I don't own the characters, yea, let's get to the point this is a what if there was a different ending to one of the episodes of the owl house, ain't gonna say which one or y'all are gonna have a feeling how the story will be and I want you to read, not to look up the description and say "Ik how it ends" Enjoy :))

In which having crushes is weird, falling in love is complicated, and seemingly impossible (like a complex riddle written in a language you don't understand), until it very much isn't. Or: the author's sexuality is confusing as hell and she's decided to make that Edric's problem.

When the eldest Blight and the infamous Golden Guard meet, there is an instant connection. As the two boy's friendship becomes more and more intimate, great dangers come their way. Unfortunately, these two were never meant to meet. Will they manage to stay together throughout all the hardships, even if they're Not Meant to Be? This is an AU, or alternate universe, where the The Owl House characters (Golden Guard and Edric Blight) meet. Hunter was an ordinary student at Hexside. He wasn't noticed by many, which he was happy for as he wasn't used to attention. Though that changed when one of the twins had noticed him. At first he didn't like the other but eventually he had warmed up to him. But because of an event the middle Blight had encountered, they were now a 'thing' Hunter had only done it for money, but soon enough, he had found himself falling for the Blight. Things hadn't always been like this. They had actually been pretty close once, back when they'd been little. They know how much it would upset both of there guardians if they even do much as formed a friendship so they meet secretly when the sun falls. There relationship strengthens , secrets are told, and feelings arise. This story takes place in a different Au where Hunter and Edric live in separate kingdoms ruled by their family. HEAVY ANGST BECAUSE I'M A DEPRESSED LITTLE SHIT AND I PROJECT WAY TOO MUCH ONTO OUR POOR BOI HUNTER (This is a goldric story, but it's mostly about Hunter's trauma, so strap in, folks, because we're in for quite a ride) BACKSTORY: Belos was killed 6 years ago. Despite the day of unity being successful, it didn't end as horribly as everyone thought... The portal to the human realm is now open to the public and humans and witches are getting along perfectly. It was difficult at first, but they learned to coexist with only some prejudice. Of course, there are speciests that want witches back on the boiling isles, but they are few and far between. Hunter got his PHD and started therapy, but soon stopped for personal reasons, despite everyone's advice. (He was also diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder {PTSD}) He now works in a psychiatric clinic and is favored in his position, in fact, he's one of the greatest and most well-known in the state, however, he's only known as that and nothing more as he claims anonymity in most of the breakthroughs that come to him and his team. Edric and amity own a small candle-making business together that slowly grows. They have a very small workforce, but their combined creativity keeps the company going. Emira works as a librarian for a local school. Luz and Vee work as camp counselors and have made it their mission to make camp enjoyable for kids of all ages, races, genders, sexualities, etc. Eda and king are still living in the owl house and are basically celebrities. Oh yeah, and hooty too I guess... TW: murder, suicide, self-harm and some other heavy topics.

DISCONTUNIED (Made before TOH Season 2B) Recently, Hexside had a new student from the Emperor's Coven !? every student was nervous and shocked at the same time. How will it turn out?? Stumbling upon The Golden Guard hadn't exactly been on Edric's list of top ten things likely to happen while taking a walk in the woods. It certainly wasn't a bad thing though. After getting stood up, Edric was at an all time low with his romantic endeavors. Maybe, if he played his cards right, he could manage to score the night he'd hoped for with the emperor's right hand man himself? (Cover art by me)

[MAYBE BRINING BACK??!!] (ART NOT MINE!!) Hunter wittebane (The golden guard) has failed one too many missions. Emperor Belos has made it very clear that If he fails this last mission or messes up in any way, things will not go great for him. His last mission : go undercover as a student at hexside. All he has to do is make sure that everything is running smoothly, and report to Belos when he overhears anyone questioning his ways. Although, along the way he has a change of heart, that couldn't in the way at all.. could it? (not super consistent uploads, it's more of a side project I do whenever right now)
