At Manuel State University, there is only one rule everyone knows: wherever Astrid Villafuerte stands, Jhio Cortez is never far behind. To Astrid, Jhio is nothing but a constant headache-her loud, stubborn, and annoyingly sharp classmate who always picks a fight in every debate, scores that extra point to match her grades, and never misses a chance to prove he can keep up. She rolls her eyes at his teasing, grits her teeth during their endless arguments, and swears she hates how he always manages to get under her skin. But to Jhio? Nothing beats the sight of Astrid flushing red, leaning forward to counter every word he says, and fighting with everything she has. He does not challenge her just to win-he does it because it is the only way he can get her full attention. They are rivals in every quiz, every recitation, every rank posted on the bulletin board. But as their battles go on, Astrid starts to realize: the one person who pushes her to be her best... is also the only one who looks at her like she is more than just a perfect score. They fight for the top spot. Until one day, they realize they are already fighting for each other.

What if the story of the world has never been told as one story? Every nation has a beginning. Every civilization has left its mark. Every generation has inherited the consequences of the choices made before it. From the rise of ancient kingdoms to the birth of modern superpowers, from wars that reshaped continents to discoveries that transformed humanity, the history of the world is a single story told through many nations. The Story of Our World takes readers on a remarkable journey across every country on Earth, exploring three timeless questions: How did it begin? Where does it stand today? Where could it be heading if present trends continue? Drawing on history, global events, and careful analysis, this book examines the triumphs, failures, struggles, and achievements that have shaped nations over centuries. It does not seek to glorify one country or condemn another. Instead, it invites readers to understand the forces that have influenced our world and the lessons history continues to offer. The journey concludes with The Solution-a thoughtful exploration of ideas that could help build a more peaceful, just, and prosperous future for humanity. Whether you are a student, teacher, journalist, policymaker, leader, or simply someone who wants to understand the world beyond headlines, this book offers an opportunity to see history through a broader lens. Because to understand where humanity is going, we must first understand how we got here.

And when buried truths begin to surface, feelings are tested, trust begins to break, and the boundaries between love and pain start to blur. Will she dare to stay or put boundaries in the chase? Or will she finally learn that some boundaries exist for a reason? A story woven with love, trust, forgiveness, diversity, happiness, and the painful truth hidden beneath it all.
