Edward was never notified that he had a brother, Harry. Let alone the fact that he is his identical twin. Even though they look alike, they are complete polar opposites. Edward likes to stay indoors, snuggle up with a good book, and do best in school. However, Harry goes out and parties, drinks, does drugs, everything the other boys have done at his school.
