I am coming here after almost a year of not writing any new fics. Theme of this one is my new favourite series Our Flag Means Death. Post-season one, post-reunion but not-quite reconciliation. To celebrate a recent swashbuckling, the crew is having a dance party aboard The Revenge! Trouble is, Edward and Stede still haven't really -addressed- anything that has happened between them. But thanks to a dreamy summer night and Frenchie's lute, they might just get the courage to put words to whatever it is. CW for light mention of drinking; everyone is a little buzzed but more than sober enough to consent to anything that's happening.

The title says it all. I have written two EdxStede one shots since the last episode for Our Flag Means Death aired. I'll probably be posting them on ao3 when I get an account but that may take a while.

My name is Elizabeth Teach. Temperance, as they like to call me. I am 14 years old and I live in Charles Town, South Carolina. 13 years ago, a man by the name of Edward Teach blockaded our harbor, capturing Charlestinians and demanding medicine in return. My Mother, Ophelia Tuscott was one of those. She tried to escape; only to be captured and brought to the Mr. Teach himself. It was love at first sight. One year later, she had me. People say that Blackbeard is a bad man that needs to be disposed of, and in a way, I feel guilty. My head would be off faster than I could say "stop" if they knew. One day, the world will know. One day, I will make history. Just wait on it.

(PLS note this is my first time writing and publishing a fan fic so apologies if it's not that good at the beginning) With the whole crue on vacation with permission from Stede, it is simply only him and Edward aboard for the night. They take to stargazing on the deck and conversations start and it's gets pretty fruity. (not NSFW)

Stede and Ed decide to take a vacation from innkeeping and spend time with the crew and they made it just in time for Calypso's birthday, where Ed gets really drunk.

Ed comes home to the sound of shouting and yelling when he finds Stede fighting off a stranger and winning. Ed could never guess what the fight was over.
