Amber was having a nice Christmas Eve with her friends in the family cabin. When all of a sudden she got a disturbing call from her mom. When the cabin becomes the next likely target for looting a heartbroken Amber and her friends pile into her Uncle's van and head as far north as possible. Her friends become increasingly more worried about her. They try to make her smile, laugh, cry, get angry, anything but all they get is a vacant stare. She stops speaking, she refuses to eat. And on top of the constant worry over Amber; tensions start to run high with the lack of knowledge of what happened to everything, and who should be in charge. Technology is now useless because of it. And now there is another group that wants the cabin and Amber. Will Amber come back from the darkness that consumes her herself?
