Bassie dwells on the past, recalling the moment where she had found out that Cocoa would replace her. That day completely shattered her from the inside. She had given it her all, tried so hard to live up to everyone's expectations. She put as much effort as she could. But, alas, it was all in vain. Cocoa had gotten all the spotlight. And, from that point on, Bassie was fueled with rage. Hate. And jealousy. She wanted revenge. Cocoa, on the other hand, wanted to make things right. They needed Bassie to understand that this was all a misunderstanding, that she didn't try to take her place, and that they want to help Bassie feel better about herself. This wasn't simply a daily task on a busy schedule. This meant a lot more, a hell of a lot. All Cocoa wished for was for Bassie to be happy again, to have their friendship back.
