Rox-Anne Noor hates difficult choices. But she should've known being a demigod meant a lot of choices, many of which are unpleasant. It's been years since she's left her home. Away from her lovely parents, safe haven, and amazing brother. Why did she leave her relatively normal life behind? Well, Apparently thousands of years ago a Pharaoh named Ptolemy combined Greek and Egyptian magic creating monstrosities unfathomable, and of course one of his descendants, a wannabe wizard, named Setne just had to continue the tradition and ended up almost destroying the world in the process. Thankfully Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, and the Kane siblings stopped him and after that everyone lived happily ever after. Yeah, not the case. She's pushed her fate away for far too long. Now it's time to make the ultimate choice; go to the Egyptians and become the next god of knowledge, or take her rightful place in Olympus as a minor goddess. Or she could listen to her father's advice and protect the gods' legacy from those who want to destroy it. All by herself with no help, inner-demons constantly causing her pain, and lost voices from her past coming back to haunt her. She'll manage though, somehow. . . (Disclaimer: I don't own the Percy Jackson, Kane Chronicles, and Magnus Chase series; all the credit goes to the best author ever Rick Riordan! The cover was made by Paint.ly, go check the app out!)

[Book One of Patron Queens Series] *** It wasn't often the Egyptian Goddess Bastet took an interest in the lives of mortals but somehow Nefer, the wild and beautiful child of the court, caught her eye. When the gods play their games with mortals it can cause chaos, but mark my words human - it makes for a great story. *** With Kemet still recovering from the previous dynasty's chaos, tensions are high and everything rests on the shoulders of the crown prince, Ramesses II, who will one day be Pharaoh. As he matures all eyes in the kingdom turn to him expectantly. Under their scrutiny he must navigate the politics and intrigues of court, and most importantly pick out a chief wife to rule beside him. Nefertari was indeed willful and proud, the daughter of a general, a creature of spirit. A girl seemingly unsuitable for the demands of life in the royal court; too smart, too rash, too headstrong for a woman. Perhaps she wasn't the wise choice for Queen, perhaps he should not have given her a second glance. Perhaps he fell in love.
