It's eighth year, and everything has changed. Everyone has different coping mechanisims. Harry has turned to a punk style, and immersing himsself in quidditch, chess, and the new DA; coming to terms that he's bisexual hasn't helped either. Draco had to deal with his innocent mother being sentanced to three years of azkaban, although the fact his abusive father has a life sentance is a small comfort - his style has turned pastel, and he bakes and flys to distract himself from painful memories. Pansy was always neutral, and has developed an obsession with Disney, along with the realisation she's lesbian. Ron, to cope, takes out his anger on others, but is as loyal, brave, and stupid as ever. Blaise had escaped to Italy for the majority of the war, but that doesn't mean he's exempt from pain - he is Draco's main source of comfort and support, and has seen firsthand the cruelty of Lucius Malfoy. Hermione has simply delved into studies and books, but also struggles with wether to identify as lesbian, pan, bi, heteroflexible, homoflexible, or another thing entirely. And as for Luna, who knows? A series of oneshot scenes within the same au. maybe i'll order them when i'm done.

Melody Killington - smart , beautiful , exotic , funny , wild , talks back to teachers , not scared of anyone , sweet , talented, LEARNING DISABLED . There are many layers when it comes to melody; she is a c student even though she could be an A student if she actually tried. People like her for her melodic voice and crazy sense of humour. But the hardest thing she has to deal with is her backstabbing best friends. Mercedes - new at her school and moved because she was bullied at her old school , bossy , control freak , more popular than melody herself , she lies about everything and is jealous that the guy melody likes may like her back . Melody and Mercedes have been friends for 4 years and are like sisters ... when they aren't competing with each other. Celine / CeCe - copies anything melody or Mercedes has to say, you can never trust her opinion, but you can trust her for a helping hand. Has a British accent that makes it weird when she swears. The guy she likes seems to like her his name is Marcus, and all the girls she knows fawn over him, including Mercedes. He is really sweet half the time and the other half he acts like a jerk. or he just doesnt talk . her life at home sucks too , you know what , just read the book
