It started the night of the third task. Draco Malfoy enters the hospital wing. Visiting one Harry Potter, they form a relationship that will change the course of history. One strange Summer and a year of forming new friendships. Harry Potter starts noticing a lot more. Eighth year, at Hogwarts. Hermione decided it would be a lovely idea for some inter-house unity! After all, the Sorting Hat was right, right? Nothing would possibly go wrong. Definitely nothing like Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy involving in a full-on flirting/seducing competition. ✧✧✧✧✧ Some fluff, some teensy tiny smut (only a little and very light I swear), and loads of party games.

Sometimes it's shared tea, a borrowed shirt, or a moment that lingers longer than it's supposed to. Sometimes it's nothing more than staying when it would be easier to walk away. This collection is a series of soft, self-contained Drarry one-shots, each exploring a different moment where Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy choose each other - gently, deliberately, and without spectacle. Set across Hogwarts eighth year, post-school life, and quiet alternate timelines, every chapter stands alone. There's no overarching plot, no required order - just small, meaningful moments that lead to the same place.

Harry Potter wasn't coping well after the war. He was sleeping all day and hooking up with strangers every night. His friends voiced their concerns and he finally started seeing a mind healer, who helped him tremendously and he eventually started getting better. When the eighth years return to the newly rebuilt Hogwarts to finish their NEWTs, a lot of things have changed. The Wizarding World is finally at peace and the looming threat of Voldemort diminished forever. But there's still a year left to go through. And it's already off to a rocky start. Harry Potter is showered with praise and celebrated as the one who saved the Wizarding World. But with the wounds of the war scarring deep and a heartbreak to handle, he doesn't feel ready to step into the role the world designed for him. A problem Draco Malfoy can only dream of. Spending the summer cut off from the world in his childhood home, the only thing he wants is to flee its tight grasp. Yet, Hogwarts isn't the same it once has been and has nothing to offer for the former Death Eater but cold shoulders and dark corners, where he is supposed to linger unnoticed. But everything changes with a terrible potions mishap that forces them to pretend to be the other. A task already difficult enough, yet they soon find themselves tangled in a web of lies and threats regarding nothing less but the safety of Hogwarts itself. To escape the effects of the potion and solve the mystery of the attacks, they have no choice but to trust the one they had every right to be wary of for the past seven years. The teachers of Hogwarts have always had a peculiar fondness for the three boys that were deemed the chosen ones. Harry Potter, the True Chosen One, a reckless Gryffindor with a terrible past Draco Malfoy, the Dark Chosen One, a snarky Slytherin also with a terrible past And Neville Longbottom, the Could've-Been Chosen One, a shy Gryffindor with a dreaded life of fear for both sides The teachers have always felt compelled to assist and comfort the boys who have heavy shoulders and scarred bodies. So they made a club. Just for the teachers and just about the three boys. However, Hermione caught wind of it and requested to make a student run version of it. It resulted in after class talks to COPC teachers about their findings between students and teachers. The boys never knew about it until their 8th year. At that point, they had been getting closer because of shared trauma. Let's see what happens, yes?
