College Writing Prompt: How has the high school you went to molded you into the person you are today? If you told me that by my senior year I would be the star quarterback of Summit Valley High School, I would call you crazy. I would tell you that they don't accept female players and that the coach would not allow it. I would think you were ridiculous for making such an absurd comment. I was just supposed to get by in high school. I made no plan whatsoever to be the center of attention. But, as you could have guessed, not everything went as planned.

Hi. My name is Nirvana... eh. Scratch that. .... Hey, guys! My name is Nirvana. Ew. Too hype. .... I'm Nirvana Wu. I'm a senior at Detroit Central High School. Every year its weird going back to school. I have my 2 bestfriends by my side though. Cailyn and Aria. I was born and raised in Los Angeles then my parents divorced when I was 12. My mom, sister, brother, and I moved to Detroit a year later. Around 9th grade, my mom and dad began "talking" again. A few months later woop-dee-doo , they're married AGAIN. Besides my home life, I have a great relationship with my boyfriend, Dylan, of 9 and a half (and counting) months. I'm surprised he's not like the rest of the boys who only want me for my goodies. Not only is he a good boyfriend but he's also in a band called "Low Closing". Then there's my guy bestfriend, Justin, who's also in the band. We've been friends since he defended me in the 7th grade when a boy tried to sexually harass me. Leave it up to me, I think he has feelings for me but he'll never tell me to my face. In this story there will be heartbreaks, new friendships, new relationships, sex, drugs, drama, and much more. But you have to read on to discover more about it.
